Senior Application Security Engineer
Washington, DC (currently remote – will return on-site)

We are currently hiring a Identity and Access Management Engineer – Senior CyberArk  to support our customer located in Washington, DC (Currently remote due to Covid-19). Please review the requirements below and if you would like to be considered, we encourage you to apply!

 

Position overview –

The candidate must have experience with CyberArk as 4+ years of CyberArk experience is a must have.

Support general, internal and external meeting support, and logistics. Apply knowledge to independently develop high-quality products, including analysis, benchmarking, reporting, and communications. Ensure a consistent voice and messaging across program documents and presentations. Review materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, .NET, or C#
  • 3+ years of experience with using the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security controls to secure applications, systems, network, or infrastructure services
  • 3+ years of experience with supporting Veracode Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and IDE Plug-in environments
  • Experience with Eclipse, JDeveloper, including pipeline development, or Visual Studio
  • Experience with securing enterprise web applications and OWASP Top 10, CVSS, CWE, WASC, and SANS-25
  • Knowledge of web protocols and a command line tool
  • Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, or FedRAMP
  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX environments, including navigating and troubleshooting basic website connectivity issues
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the SecurityCompass SDElements security requirements tool
  • Experience with Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) capabilities and tools 
  • Experience with OWASP ZAP or Burp Proxy 

Other Requirements:

Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID vaccine.

 

Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent

 

Working Conditions:

Business work hours are from Monday through Friday, (day shift) 40-hour week 

 

Physical Requirements:

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
