We are currently hiring a Baseline/Change Control Analyst to support our customer based out of Washington, DC (Position is fully remote but must live in the Washington, DC area). Please review the requirements below and if you would like to be considered, we encourage you to apply!

 

Position overview –

 

As a member on our team, you’ll build an overall picture of the client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. Through discussions and workshops with leadership and Program Managers, architects, and technologists you will provide business process knowledge and experience in process transformation. Once you have a solid understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you will present the path forward – and the expected results – to leadership.

 

In order to modernize an IT Enterprise effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from an outside perspective. Our clients need an analyst who will take the time to learn the complexities of their enterprise modernization efforts and provide them with tangible advice on improvement, mission success, and standard methodologies. We are looking for an analyst who can bring a consulting approach to analyze every aspect of a customer’s operations and use specialized experience develop a roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.

  

You will apply prior experience in Baseline/ Change Control to help design and implement successful management techniques to ensure mission success and alignment of a large stakeholder set. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this role as the activities performed will fluctuate over time, ranging from process design, to technical analysis, to risk mitigation. 

 

You will learn about current configuration management practices in the client environment and help to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and/or effectiveness of related processes. You will seek to optimize processes for identification, preparation, reviewing, releasing, controlling, changing, auditing, and providing the status of all technical data to support the single EHR as it matures over time. You will help to codify configuration management principles in written artifacts. You may develop and deliver training to disseminate required knowledge on necessary configuration management procedures to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience is required 
  • Ability to apply a consulting approach to meeting client’s needs
  • Prior configuration management experience
  • Able to plan, design, and oversee deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large-scale information architectures 
  • Able to identify system components and interfaces and include these in an 
  • Able to perform business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

Other Requirements:

Must be fully vaccinated with the COVID vaccine.

 

Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent

 

Working Conditions:

Business work hours are from Monday through Friday, (day shift) 40-hour week. Position is fully remote but you must live in the Washington, DC area.

 

Physical Requirements:

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
